Pulteney went into round four confident having just knocked Kenilworth off their perch for top spot by a fair margin. North Haven were still licking their wounds from last week’s thumping from Black Friars OS, but were eager to take on Pulteney on their own turf. North Haven’s defence worked hard as they kept Pulteney to only 2 goals at quarter time. They did well to keep Pulteney from totally running away with the game, and any seeing a few goals each quarter. Pulteney were the best team on the day, ultimately defeating North Haven 1.1 – 7 to 6.7 – 43.

The goal kicker for North Haven was K. Shiers, who also took out best on ground. The other best players for North Haven were J. Evans, K. Johnstone, S. Stellini and R. Wilson. Multiple goal kickers from Pulteney including I. Loftes who slotted 2 and earned best on ground. Their other scorers were C. Glover 2, L. Amato and E. Sara. Among the best for Pulteney were I. Loftes, C. Glover, A. Heal, L. Amato and V. Cirocco. Not much change on the ladder from either side, with Pulteney remaining 4th and North Haven coming in 8th. Pulteney will need some big wins in hope to solidify themselves for finals in a few short weeks and North Haven need a win on the board to avoid relegation.
