Five premiership-less AFL players who deserve a medal

A premiership, the pinnacle of an AFL players’ career… well, for some.

Michael Tuck is the most successful player in Australian Football, claiming the league’s biggest prize on seven occasions. Port Adelaide and Hawthorn legend Shaun Buroyne is hunting medal number five before he hangs up the boots, Dan Butler could join a rare group in achieving the ultimate success at two different clubs this season.

Some are simply surrounded by success wherever they go.

However, in sport , not everyone always gets to achieve the holy grail. It is the harsh reality of the competition. Some of the best players we’ve seen play the game may achieve all the personal accolades in the world, but are not rewarded with the true success.
