Roosters set for redemption in a tight one
By Kym Kelly

With larger crowds now allowed at SANFL games, this weeks game at Prospect between North and South Adelaide will be one to get to. The Roosters have shown much improvement this year under coach Jacob Surjan with a seeming good mix of experience and youth. The last time these two teams met was round 16 last year and South Adelaide made easy work of North keeping them to just 2 goals for the game and winning by 79 points. This week wont be an easy win for the Panthers as North are showing signs things have turned for the club, sitting equal top with Eagles and South all with 4 wins making this game extremely important for both clubs. With the Eagles playing Centrals this week and will get the expected result, the winner of this match will get themselves a games buffer between 2nd and 3rd spot.

Apart from last weekends 30 point win over the Bulldogs, the wins for North have been hard fought and getting over the line by 6 points or less in most games. Souths road ahs been a little easier only dropping the one game in round 1 against the Bays by 5 points, and even then were unlucky not to get over the line after kicking 7 of the last 8 goals of the game. I must admit North are one of those side that has slipped underneath the radar after finishing just on rung off the bottom in 2019, probably weren’t in my top five this year but banking early wins has seem them set up for a good run at the last half of an already shortened season.
